But here are some general tips:

    • For the next 2 - 3 weeks, you do NOT want to agitate the area. Treat your skin like a baby.

    • Keep the area clean everyday!

    • Keep the area hydrated with a thin layer of moisturizing cream regularly.

    • Using non-scented antibacterial soap, clean your tattoo area very gently under lightly running water or under a brief shower.

    • Gently pat down the area using a soft towel.

    • Until the tattoo fully heals, please DO NOT soak in water, swim, or partake in any kind of activity that involves heavy water submersion.

    • Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. This might cause the color to fade, cause irritation, and most importantly affect the outcome of your tattoo.

  • Scabbing, flaking, and peeling of your skin is absolutely normal after getting a tattoo.

When this happens, DO NOT pick or scratch the area. You don't want to end up with an infection.

Please allow the skin to naturally fall off and heal.

  • Yes.

To keep your skin healthy and moisturized, we recommend using Aquaphor or Tattoo Goo.

Only apply a thin layer of ointment 2 - 3 times a day.

Avoid applying product that is scented. Chemicals may irritate your skin and damage the outcome.

  • You may or may not need a touch-up after your tattoo.
This varies between every artist, so we recommend that you consult with your artist after your tattoo.
